Excel

I think that excel is an amazing thing on our computers. I think this because the possiblitiies that you can use it for are close to endless. Its a spreadsheet, calculator, tables, graphs, and you can even paint on it. And excel is so smart because it will change a whole row of numbers for you by just giving it the right command! This is why i think excel is awesome. ~Tj

My Story

The story i chose to present was 'So God Made A Farmer' ~Tj

Retention is when you hold information in your brain for a longer amount of time, it increases you memory of the piece of information. It is also why you shouldn't do you homework at school, and wait until you get home.... to build your memory on the subject your homework is on. ~Tj

My Handout

If i had to make a handout for my geography presentation about the Great Lakes St. Lawrence Lowlands, I would make my handout organized with a few pictures and small sentences to describe the pictures. I would want my handout to be interesting, but easy to read/understand in a quick glance.

Story Presentation

The story that i am presenting is 'God Made a Farmer' by Paul Harvey. This story talks about why god created the farmer, and what the farmer does for the world everyday, but goes unnoticed. ~Tj

Chatting On Ze Phone

Right now, i find talking on the phone to someone i dont know, very awkward. Will i say the right thing? Will I stumble over my words? Will the person think talking to me is a waste of time? Hopefully by the end of this Unit, i will be able to convey a message efficiently, and in a business-like manner. i think i can improve this by having a plan before, and practicing talking in a confident tone. ~Tj

MY Forms Of Communication

I chose my forms of communication by the circumstances. I hardly ever go on facebook anymore because i find that it distracts me and takes up valuable time that i could be doing something else in. I go on skype if i want to talk to someone and make it seem like im with them. I use email for serious stuff like school. I will phone my family to discuss something, and i mainly text people from my phone. MY PHONE IS MY MAIN DISTRACTION. ~Tj
